When Princess Juliane built her summer residence in the 18th century, it was probably her intention to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. That the Grosse Klus would later become a hotel was probably not on her mind. We are distinctly different from downtown hotels and are located in an almost central position between Minden and Bückeburg. Both city centers can be reached within just a 10-minute drive.
Our wellness oasis is the forest right outside our doorstep. Hiking, jogging, cycling, and strolling are the order of the day here. However, if you still do not want to forego sauna and similar amenities, we have some excellent recommendations in the vicinity for you.
In general, we warmly welcome dogs in our house. However, not every day, every room, or every space is equally suitable for your furry companion. If you intend to visit us with your four-legged friend, we strongly urge you to indicate this when making your reservation. Classic rooms in House 3 can be booked for guests with dogs. Please note, however, that the staircase in the house features an open marble staircase – your dog should be prepared for this.
